Torumblr - Ugh

Hi! This tumblr was named after the city of Toronto, where I currently live. I love it here. I have a special ability to be able to tell when blogs are Canadian just by reading them. I enjoy watching The Office and Project Runway. I am a regular girl who loves to blog. xo!

We hate comments on tumblelogs, but we want people to discuss things. We thought long and hard and decided to implement an automatic unfollow. If you don’t reblog any posts from a person within one month of following them they will be removed from your list of blogs that you follow. We figure if you don’t have anything to say about their tumblelog you shouldn’t be following it in the first place.

i’m not sure i agree with this policy, but it is what it is.

this seems slightly flawed rationale to me. i follow tons of people who say so many amazing things that i just think about what they’ve said and don’t feel qualified to add anything to the equation. Can’t you love a post without reblogging it?

What is this now? The dictatorship of blogging platforms? The blog nazi? If I don’t want to reblog that’s my choice. It’s not because I don’t like to read their blog, it’s because sometimes I don’t have anything additional to say.
